The Library of Celsus. Built in 117 CE.
In Ancient times it was one of the four most important libraries in the region along with
Alexandria, Pergamon and Nysa.

This gate was built in the first century BCE


The Brothel


The Great Theatre.
One of the best preserved monuments in Ephesus. The original structure was built BCE.
The second story was added by Nero in the first century CE.
The third story was built by Septimus Servus at the end of the second century CE.
The last building alterations were made by Emporer Trajanus between 98 and 117 CE.
The theater had the capacity to hold 25,000 people.
