For cold or iced Herbal and Fruit Tea: When the temperature is HOT outside, it's great to COOL down inside. One of the best ways to do this is with iced herbal or fruit teas. Herbal and fruit teas, unlike sweetened drinks and beverages with caffeine, will quench your thirst.
For iced teas, you can prepare the tea as you would for the hot drink, then cool it and add ice. Or you might want to infuse the bags for as long as five minutes, then cool and add additional water to suit your taste if the tea is too concentrated. Then just add ice, relax and enjoy.
If you're preparing teas for the family or entertaining guests, try this recipe - or modify it as you see fit:
8 bags of the same or mixed herbal teas
1 litre boiling water
1 2-litre jug filled to the top with ice cubes.Boil water and steep the bags for ten minutes. Remove the tea bags, pour over ice in the jug, stir and enjoy!
Or try an iced blend of different herbal or fruit teas. Experiment until you find that unique blend that tickles your fancy.
Or - you can experiment - make your own favorite Herbal or Fruit tea Coolers. Try this:
4 cups water
8 herbal tea bags
6 ounce can frozen apple juice concentrate, thawed
1 orange, sliced
1 lemon, sliced
For garnish: fresh sprigs of spearmint or peppermint.
Regardless of how you prepare Anatolian Treasures™ Herbal or Fruit Teas, you'll discover a delicious, natural taste and you won't regret it - we're pretty sure you'll like them.
