Description

This is a very clean, strong and sweet Peppermint very similar to the steam distilled in aroma.

ROOM FRAGRANCE: The strong aroma of peppermint will fill your entire living area by adding a few drops to a diffuser or into hot water on top of a radiator or wood stove. Place a few drops on a paper towel and place on the intake of your HVAC system to fill the entire area with the aroma of Peppermint.

INHALATION:  If you are tired and or on a long trip and you need to stay awake, keep a bottle of peppermint nearby.  Peppermint is wonderful aid for helping you to stay alert.

BATHS:  In a regular Bath, or a Foot Bath, Peppermint is invigorating.  Peppermint will help itchy skin conditions.

MASSAGE: We do not advise a full body massage using peppermint but on local application it can provide relief to achy joints and muscles.

Caution:  Do not get near the eyes!  Do not touch your eyes or other delicate parts of the body if you have peppermint on your fingers.  Clean your hands well to remove any residue of the peppermint oil prior to touching your eyes or any delicate body part.  If you do make eye contact, flush with mild or a carrier oil like coconut.  The fatty content of the milk or oil will dilute the peppermint and stop the burning.  This works as I have personal experience using milk. It will put out the fire.

    Sweet, soft, calming

I truly appreciate this co2 extraction of peppermint, as it’s complex, somewhat balsamic and woody and definitely sweet, but not so intense that it’s difficult to tame (especially while blending). It reminds me of black Mitchum peppermint (English peppermint) in that it’s more refined and has a gentle presence instead of trying to be the star of every single show. Instead, it’s a team player and announces itself by agreeing to be a part of your overall composition instead of dominating. I’ve yet to find another CO2 of peppermint, so I can’t compare it to anything else, but I believe it’s a quality oil worth experiencing. The price will require me to be very respectful and mindful of when and how much to use, unlike the generic oils one can purchase anywhere. That’s the price of quality and uniqueness. For sure, I’ll buy this again.
